Vivacom of Bulgaria will launch the Motorola Milestones smartphone that uses Android 2.1 as its operating system. FYI, the Motorola Milestone has a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, WiFi, a 3.5mm headset jack and supports for quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band 900/2100 WCDMA connectivity. Philips has recently announced a new smartphone for the Chinese market. Known as the D900, the handset features a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 TFT touchscreen display, a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot (2GB card included), GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a USB 1.1 interface, Windows Mobile OS and supports CDMA2000 1x EV-DO connectivity.
