American Airlines had just announced that travelers departing from selected airports may now receive boarding passes on their mobile phones or PDAs instead of the regular paper boarding pass at check-in. The Airline is rolling out the program in partnership with the United States Transportation protection Administration, and it will extend the initiative to more U.S.

The mobile web is replacing the wired web in South East Asia. Opera latest State of the Mobile Web report reveals that in many Southeast Asian countries the mobile Web exists not considering it complements wired access, but replaces it.
