If it’s love you are in, the economy is no excuse. Austrian jeweller Peter Aloisson has crafted the “Kings Button,” a diamond-encrusted iPhone whose name refers to the 6.6-carat diamond planted on top of the handset’s Home button.
There are a few apps, quirks and possible scams out there that boost those with too much money to blow it on literally nothing. One example is the “I Am Rich” app, which for $999.99 you can get a glowing stone to seem on your screen. That is all it does. (Apparently it does bring good fortune, luck and health. For a grand, I’d rather buy shoes, three outfits, go to a movie and fill the car with fuel, that makes me feel lucky!)
As for the diamond phone, the case is made out of solid 18-carat yellow, white and rose gold. Aloisson finished it off by outlining the case with a white gold line encrusted with 138 diamonds of “the best quality.” The estimated value: $2,517,345. No word on whether there will be a matching set of ear rings. that iPhone is certainly something. I can only take in my dad saying “the smaller and heavier something is, the more expensive”. By that thought, that should weigh more than my car full of fuel. Is it worth mentioning my birth stone is diamonds?

iPhone Developer contracts are not as easy as one would hope whether looking to renew. As the year closes since the doors opened for developers to construct their own iPhone Applications, some may not be able to renew.

On the one-year anniversary of third-party iPhone App development, developers need to renew their contracts to avoid having their software pulled from the App Store. that is one thing, problem is that they are facing difficulty having the contract and cooperation from Apple finalized in instance. The reasons behind that have not become obvious. However the March deadline is Apple’s first definitive experiment of its ability to maintain long-term development relationships with those writing apps for the iPhone and iPod touch.
The contracts are needed as part of the iPhone Developer Program in order to have iPhone applications listed in the App Store. Apparently, in March 2008 developers were told that an online option would be available 90 days before the contract(s) expired. The end of March however is 20 days away. There are currently 25,000 Apps out there, 10,000 were registered since January. that is a major kink the in the system for the iPhone developer and could see major panic in the industry, whats happening Apple?

Here are the specs: a VGA camera, 128×160 resolution display and a lack of microSD memory card slot. The phone itself is likely to hit the market before the end of the month for unannounced price yet. [SlipperyBrick]
