Bangs is a Sudanese rapper living in Egypt who crafted that horrible music video. In the video, Bangs tries to convince the unnamed object of his affection to go to the movies with him at 4pm by flashing bling, Italian sports cars, American cash and… an iPhone. Here comes the video!

Upcoming iTG xpPhone

Here’s a look at another upcoming Windows XP phone from a Chinese handset maker iTG. Dubbed as the xpPhone, that smartphone boasts a 4.8-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen display, an AMD Super Mobile CPU, a 512MB/1GB RAM, an optional 8GB SSD or 120GB HDD, a 1.3MP camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Windows XP OS and supports both GSM and CDMA connectivity. Samsung Selects Tele Atlas For Digital Maps and Location Content

Tele Atlas and Samsung have announced an agreement under which Samsung will use Tele Atlas maps for its GPS-enabled devices. Samsung will be able to bundle Tele Atlas’ product with its smartphone with more than 24 million points of interest (POIs), Voice Maps, and visual enhancements such as 3D Landmarks, 2D City Maps and Digital Elevation Models.

The two companies will continue to collaborate to deliver rich navigation and location solutions, covering a wide range of products and regions. [Slashphone]

It seems like the Motorola Droid is just the be beginning of the company’s rebirth back into mobile industry, as the CEO Sanjay Jha stated during the yesterday’s press announcement of the Droid. Sanjay mentioned that at least 20 smartphones would be released. I wonder how many of these 20+ smartphones will be Android and how many will be WinMo?

For too expanded now, BlackBerry have been lost an all doing, all performing, top end smartphone in their line up, something that could take on the upstart devices from the likes of Nokia and others, and compete not just in terms of functionality, but in terms of specification, too.
