MetroPCS has recently launched its first touchscreen from Samsung known as the Caliber R860. Specs-wise, the handset is equipped with a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, a 3MP camera with flash, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a full HTML web browser, GPS with MetroNavigator, e mail, social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace), Bluetooth, a 1080 mAh battery and supports CDMA (1×800/1900 MHz) connectivity. The Samsung Caliber R860 is sold for $250 with free of contract.

I like playing games on my iPhone. I probably spend more duration gaming on the thing than talking on it. whether you like to game on yours, but you want a real controller the iControlPad is in production and said to be launching soon. The device gives real buttons for gaming.
Apple recently killed off about 5,000 apps on the App Store that were adult in nature. A rumor was circulating that a new category for explicit apps might be coming. That rumor has now been quashed according to an Apple spokesperson who stated, “It’s not going to happen anytime soon.”
Apple has enhanced MobileMe when accessed on Mobile Safari browser by iPhone users. The app will offer direct urls to things like calendars, contacts, and more. You can additionally access the Find My iPhone feature from any iPhone or iPod touch when your phone is lost. There are several other features as well.

Nokia leads the world in the smartphone sector, but no one can sit still in that fast moving space. The latest Gartner goods for the 4th quarter of 2009 shows that Symbian leads with 46.9% market share with RIM in second at 19.9%. Unfortunately, Symbian saw a drop of 5.5% from the same quarter a year ago.

Nokia has started to produce the Nokia N97 Mini Gold Edition that comes covered with 18 carat gold. The special edition phone plus boasts a 3.2-inch touchscreen display at 360 x 640 resolution, an 8GB of internal memory, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD memory card slot, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi connectivity, an integrated FM transmitter and a 5-megapixel camera with AutoFocus and Carl Zeiss optics.
