Conran Audio has a new speaker dock for the iPhone that looks like a room humidifier to me. It has a white finish with light wood at the bottom, features Bluetooth streaming, and naturally charges while you play your tunes when docked. It sells for $395.

A rumor says that the iPhone 5 and future iPads will switch to Qualcomm baseband. The rumor may be another arrow pointing to a Verizon iPhone since Qualcomm makes dual-mode wireless chips that will work on Verizon network.

Apple fans in China are really wanting to get their hands on the iPhone 4. The demand is so high that scalpers are selling the iPhone 4 for as much as 5,400 yuan, which is about $795.

Motorola today introduced the Android-based Motorola i886 iDEN phone that features a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, an accelerometer, Push-to-Talk, Bluetooth, a web browser, a 2MP camera with video recording, and a microSD card support. The Star Wars themed Droid 2 is going to be launched on Thursday and that Smartphone is going to be available to customers from September 30th. Named Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 that mobile phone will contain a graphical design picture of the cute droid on the back and it will plus depict the popular wars Astromech Droid that will come packed in a custom box that will resemble carbonite.

Our sister site SlashGear posted up a review of the Mophie juice pack air for iPhone 4 yesterday. They figure the case works well, adds lots of additional runtime and is worth the $80 it sells for.

NewerTechnolgoy unveiled a new line of iPhone 4 cases that has several offerings. The coolest of them is the carbon fiber look case and an anti-glare screen protection film was unveiled too.

Apple has made the beta versions of iOS 4.2 and iTunes 10.1 available for developers. The update for iOS is expected in November and adds some cool upgrades.

The Coolpad N930 is not an ordinary Chinese smartphone, considering it features a brawny titanium body, ceramic buttons, and a 3.5-inch 480 x 800 ASV LCD capacitive touchscreen. The phone is powered by a 1GHz CPU and the Google Android 2.1 as its operating system (a 2.2 update will be available later).
