Google really are on the ball with the Android versions of their apps, and to that end Google Maps for Android has received another update, and is available to download from the Android Market . The new Google Maps 4.6 offers a re-designed Place page, with more search options and reviews, as well as now offering real duration updating for Google Latitude. The new Place page reviews for Android Google Maps now shares the same design that reviews use on your PC.

iPhone and iPad users in Europe that want to watch live digital TV on their devices can now do that with a cool TV hotspot called tizi. The hotspot can tune DVB-T/DTT/TNR and sends the live TV to the iPhone by a WiFi connection.

netTALK has announced a new VoIP app for the iPhone that has lots of cool features like free calls to the US and Canada. Future updates will allow the use of the netTALK DUO phone number on the smartphone.

Ballistic Cases has unveiled a new three-layer protection case for the iPhone 4 called the Ballistic SG. The case has a soft TPU layer, a ridged polycarbonate layer, and a silicone inner layer with reinforced corners. It will sell for $29.99.

Fly has recently dropped their newest dual SIM music phone for the Russian market called the Fly E150. that candybar phone comes with a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 TFT LCD display, a 5-megapixel camera, dual SIM card slots, a microSD/SDHC card slot, a music player, an FM radio, social networking services integration, a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.
