Word has it that Meizu is already working on a new phone, the Meizu M9II. The phone is slated to be released in late 2011. The Meizu M9II comes jam packed with a 4-inch display that features a 1280 x 854 or 1200 x 900 pixel resolution, a 1GB of RAM/ROM, a dual-core A9 processor and a 16GB of built-in flash memory. The phone is expected to be priced around 3580 Yuan ($537). [GizChina]

The FCC has approved the Samsung R700 dual-band CDMA device that supports EVDO 3G. From the leaked picture, it seems that the phone comes equipped with a touchscreen display, a digital camera, a headset jack, a committed camera key and a lock key. Word has it that the Samsung R700 will be launched by US Cellular. Sadly, there is no confirmation from the network carrier. Stay tuned for more updates. [UnwiredView]

LG has proudly introduced its latest Android 2.2 Froyo smartphone, the LG-LU3000, which is claimed to be the world’s fastest smartphone in the market so far. The new LG LU3000 features a 3.8-inch WVGA IPS Screen, a 5MP camera with AutoFocus, an HDMI out with support of 1080P video playback and a 1GHz OMAP 3630 processor. Apple has reportedly rejected an app submitted by a publisher called Mediaprovider. The app was rejected considering it is a magazine specifically about the Android OS.

Apple has its legal team ready to fight a patent infringement suit brought against it by Nokia. Nokia is claiming that just about every product Apple sells infringes on Nokia patents.

iPhone 3GS and 3G users have a new tool to unlock their smartphones whether they are running iOS 4.2.1. The new unlock tool is called redsn0w and you can get it right now.

Fujitsu today rolled out the new DoCoMo SMART series F-03C waterproof cell phone. Available in brown, black, purple and white, the Fujitsu F-03C comes equipped with a 2-inch large-screen color LCD, a high-performance 12.2-megapixel camera that can record full high-definition movies and a touchpad that enables users to access e-mail messages, check their schedules or browse i-mode substance, even when that clamshell phone is closed.
