Skype has updated its iPhone app to support video calls made by WiFi and 3G networks. The new app with the video shout feature can be downloaded right now on the App Store.

An insider is claiming that the iPhone 4 for Verizon will land by February 14. that comes after rumors have been floating that the device might show up at CES.

Ford has announced another update to Sync called Destinations that can be downloaded on the App Store right now. The new app adds in the ability to pre-plan your route on your smartphone and get traffic and other details on your route. The app works with any 2010-2011 Sync-equipped car with TDI capability.

If you like to look at celestial bodies using a telescope a new app and cable has surfaced that will work on the iPhone 4 called SkyWire. The adapter is $79 and lets you connect to various telescopes that use a serial port for connectivity.

Livio and DICE team for a hardware and app combo for the iPhone that will let drivers listen to World Wide Web radio while driving. The hardware connects the smartphone to the cars audio system and lets steering wheel mounted controls operate the tunes.

New details on the PlayStation app for the iPhone have come to light today. Apparently, the update to version 1.1 will bring access to the app to more countries, hopefully to include the US.

iGo has announced that it will be showing off new gear at CES 2011. The gear will include a pocket projector that fits smartphones like the iPhone and a charge cable that is small sufficient for your key ring called KeyJuice.

AT&T has beefed up its WiFi Hot Zones to supply users in Times Square and San Francisco more free coverage for WiFi. The WiFi goods use won’t count against you monthly allotments and is offered free of charge to subscribers.

DigiTimes reports according to sources in Taiwan, Apple is upping the shipment estimates for Q1 2011 for the iPhone. The rumor includes 5-6 million CDMA iPhones to ship that quarter.

Hackulous is a hacker store that offers pirated apps for Jailbroken iPhone users. The developers of the community have announced a new way to upload apps to the community described as a reverse BitTorrent.

Documents that tell Verizon users how to use Skype for the iPhone have leaked. The leaked document is called Skype Mobile for Verizon and the iPhone has expanded been rumored to hit the Verizon network in January.
