
Bad news for all Samsung Epic 4G owners. Sprint has recently removed the Android 2.2 update for the Epic 4G from their servers. The issues being reported are related to documents connectivity following the upgrade and SD card issues when attempting to access photos, music, etc. whether you are experiencing these issues, a hard reset has been reported to resolve the problems. Rogers Canada has recently launched another touchscreen phone from LG namely the LG Shine Touch. Specs-wise, the handset packs a 3-inch 240 x 400 touchscreen display, a 3.0-megapixel camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), a virtual QWERTY keyboard, an FM radio, Bluetooth and WiFi. NEC Casio Mobile has officially confirmed the availability of the MEDIAS N-04C in Japan via Docomo. Available in black or white, the MEDIAS N-04C comes jam packed with a 4-inch (854 x 480) LCD touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, the Google Android 2.2 OS (with an update coming that summer), a 5.1-megapixel CMOS camera, a 1Seg digital TV tuner, an e-wallet operate (NFC), 3G/GSM roaming, a microSDHC card slot, an infrared communication and the standard Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi. Outdoors types that want a rugged set of wireless earphones for the iPhone that use Bluetooth need to check these out new ones from Outdoor Technology out. The OT Tags are stereo earbuds for music and have a mic for making and receiving calls.
A rumor has surfaced that Apple has delayed the LTE 4G version of the iPhone to 2012. Analyst Sam Greenholtz claims that the iPhone 5 landing that summer will not get LTE support according to his sources.
The new subscription policies on iTunes have Amazon looking for work arounds for its Kindle app. The reply by Amazon rather than lose an estimated $160 million yearly is to design a Kindle for the Web app that iPhone users can take advantage of.

Telus Canada is ready to launch the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type. In case you didn’t know, the C3-01 is Nokia’s S40 phone that features a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen display, an alphanumeric keypad, Wi-Fi, HSPA, Facebook and Twitter integration, a 3.5mm headset jack, an FM radio with RDS, a 5MP camera, a VGA video recording and a microSD card support. T-Mobile customers are now able to purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S 4G. Using that smartphone, users can enjoy the 21mbps download speeds on their current 4G network. T-Mobile will increase their HSPA+ network speeds from 21 mbps to 42 mbps later that year. The Samsung Galaxy S 4G has a front facing camera for video calling aims, and comes preloaded with last year’s summer hit blockbuster, Inception.
