Nokia C5-00 5MP With S60 3rd Edition FP2

Nokia has unveiled the C5-00 5MP, which is actually the C5-00 with a few things added. Weighing at 95 grams, the new handset features a 5MP digital camera, a 256MB RAM, and a 270MB of internal storage. The Nokia C5-00 5MP additionally has a 2.2-inch (240×320) display, GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack, an FM radio, quad-band GSM, dual-band WCDMA (900/2100) with 10.2Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA and a 1050mAh battery. The phone runs on the Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 (S60 3.2.2). The Nokia C5-00 5MP will be launched in the third quarter of 2011. [AllAboutSymbian]

Samsung Galaxy 550

SaskTel will launch the Samsung Galaxy 550 (i5500) in Canada. For your info, the phone has a 2.8-inch (240×320) capacitive touchscreen, a 600MHz processor, a 2MP camera with video recording capabilities, a 170MB of internal storage space, a microSD card support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 1200mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy 550 runs on the Google Android 2.1, which is upgradeable to Android 2.2 Froyo. Motorola-MT870-Dual-Core-TD-SCDMA-Android-Smartphone

Motorola has unveiled the world’s first dual-core TD-SCDMA Android Smartphone for the Chinese market. Known as the MT870, the handset is packed with a 4.0-inch 540 x 960 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, a 512MB RAM, an 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a front-facing VGA camera, a rear-facing 8.0-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities, 1080p Full HD video playback support, GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, a 1880mAh battery and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Samsung has filed a complaint against Apple with the ITC in the legal battle amoung the two firms. The ITC complaint seeks an import ban on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod.

Google unveiled Swiffy that week and the new service turns Flash video into HTML 5. The service may help the iPhone and other Apple gear to view Flash video and produce Apple fans very happy.

Some hints at the iPhone 5 packing LTE surfaced in the final leak from hacker group LulzSec. According to the leaked docs, the smartphone will land in August or September.

Orange Monte Carlo With Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS

Orange UK will release the Orange Monte Carlo, which is actually a re-branded ZTE Skate. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the phone features a 4.3-inch WVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, a 512MB of RAM, and an 800MHz processor. Tag Heuer Link Smartphone

Tag Heuer today introduced the Link smartphone. Priced at €4,700 ($6,712), the handset runs on the Google Android 2.2 OS, a 3.5-inch (800 x 480) display, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, a 256MB internal memory, an 8GB memory card, a 1400mAh battery, and EDGE / HSUPA connectivity. Fly-E190-Dual-SIM-Touchscreen-Phone

Another dual SIM touchscreen phone from Fly has just been introduced in Russia. Called the E190, the handset features a 3.5-inch 320 x 480 touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), dual SIM card slots, an FM radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and works in GSM 900/1800/1900 network.
