HTC Explorer Budget-friendly Smartphone

HTC is ready to release a new budget-friendly Android 2.3 smartphone, the Explorer. Available in metallic black, active black and metallic navy, the handset features a 3.2-inch HVGA (480 x 320) display, which is combined with a 600MHz processor and a 3-megapixel camera. The phone additionally offers a 512MB of storage capacity and a microSD card slot. HTC will launch the Explorer in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East next month. Stay tuned for more updates. Vodafone UK has begun selling Sony Ericsson’s latest Android smartphone ‘Xperia Arc S’ on their network. The handset is being offered for free whether you sign a 24-month contract on pay monthly plans from 31 GBP (about $48). Leaked Specs Of Samsung Stratosphere

According to a leaked document from Verizon, the Samsung Stratosphere 4G smartphone will feature a 1GHz single-core processor with a 512MB of RAM, a large 4-inch Super AMOLED (480×800) display, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 4GB of storage space, a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), a free 4GB microSD card, and a QWERTY keyboard. Apple is having an iPhone event early next month and we expected to see two smartphones unveiled. Rumors are now claiming that only one iPhone will launch and that iOS 5 voice control will debut.

Skype for iPhone has been updated with some new features. The update brings anti-shake for video and Bluetooth support for wireless headsets and voice chatting.

Has Apple been hinting that there will be only one iPhone unveiled on October 4? That is what some think since the phone signal icon on the iPhone invite shows one missed shout.
