Pantech-Jest-2-Slider-Phone

Verizon Wireless is about to launch another slider phone from Pantech namely the Pantech Jest 2. The handset will become available from September 29th for $79.99 with a new 2-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate. Specs-wise, the Jest 2 packs a 2.4-inch landscape display, a 2MP camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), Opera Mini browser, VZ Navigator, V CAST Tones, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and supports for quad-band GSM connectivity. KDDI Releases Kyocera DIGNO Waterproof Smartphone

KDDI is ready to release the Kyocera DIGNO in the Japanese market. Measuring 8.7mm thick and weighing 30 grams, the waterproof handset supports WiMAX and 3G, allowing user to enjoy up to 40Mbps of download speed. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 OS, the Kyocera DIGNO features an OLED display with toughened glass to produce it more durable, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a front-facing VGA camera, mobile TV support, mobile wallet service, and infrared details transmission. Apple has confirmed that there will be an iPhone event on October 4. The event is called the “Let’s Talk iPhone” event ensuring there will be some new announcements about the expanded rumored iPhone 5.

A source has tipped that the iPhone 5 will go on sale on October 14. The phone will launch on that day in the US, UK, Germany, France, and Japan says the source.

The iPad Facebook app may be making a debut at the iPhone even next month. It would be no surprise to see talk of some other things at the iPhone event we have all been waiting for.

HTC EVO Design 4G

The HTC EVO Design 4G’s specification has been unveiled. The smartphone features a 4-inch (540 x 960) qHD display with the HTC Sense user interface, a 1.2GHz single-core Snapdragon S2 processor and a 768MB of RAM. Powered by the Google Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS, the HTC EVO Design 4G plus supports a 5-megapixel rear-facing digital camera with a 720p video recording, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing digicam for video calls, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and 4G HSPA+ network. Huawei Honor Android Gingerbread Smartphone Is Now Official

Huawei has officially confirmed the availability of that Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread smartphone in Asia-Pacific, China, Russia and the Middle East. Measuring at just 10.9mm thick and weighing 140 grams, the Huawei Honor features a 1.4GHz processor, a large 4-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) capacitive touchscreen display, an 8-megapixel HDR-enabled camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 1,900mAh battery. What’s more, that smartphone is plus DLNA-certified, allowing you to easily share your photos, music and videos across different DLNA-certified devices. Here’s the first Windows Phone Mango smartphone from Samsung, the Omnia W. Specs-wise, the handset sports a 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1.4GHz single-core processor, a 512MB RAM, an 8GB of internal storage, a VGA front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera with flash, GPS, HSPA, WiFi and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS.
