LG Nitro HD - AT&Ts First HD Android Phone

AT&T has unveiled the new LG Nitro HD. It is actually the network carrier’s first HD Android phone that comes equipped with a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720) HD display. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the LG Nitro HD supports LTE and HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi Direct, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 4GB of on-board memory. Each purchase comes equipped with a free 16GB microSD card. AT&T will release the LG Nitro HD on December 4th, 2011 for $249.99 with a new 2-year contract agreement. [Press Release]

Motorola-XT928

China Telecom is preparing to launch a new Android smartphone from Motorola namely the Motorola XT928. The handset will become available next month, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. Specs-wise, the XT928 will feature a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 1GB RAM, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera with 1080p Full HD video recording and run on Android 2.3 OS. The Siri assistant app on the iPhone 4S is one thing that many public on Android are envious of. A new app has launched for the Android platform called Cluzee that promises to be much like Siri.

Sales of the iPhone have tripled in the UK for October. The big growth is thought to be thanks to pent up demand for the device.

RIM has launched an app for the iOS devices out there. The app offers remote configuration, locking, and secure wiping and connectivity management.

Samsung Galaxy Note LTE Hits The South Korean Market

Samsung has decided to release the Galaxy Note LTE in South Korea via SK Telecom. The Korean version of Galaxy Note LTE is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor from Qualcomm. As a comparison, the original version of Galaxy Note runs on a 1.4GHz dual-core processor from Samsung. Verizon To Release White Motorola Droid Razr

Verizon will launch the white version of the Motorola Droid Razr in the near future. In case you didn’t know, the Motorola Droid Razr is one of the thinnest smartphones in the world.
