FireCore settings button is added on the jailbroken Apple TV 2G iOS 5.1 user interface

– by iPhone-tips-tricks.com –  Q: What is happened? A: Since some hours a tethered jailbreak for the Apple TV 2G black is available. Q: Who did released that one? A:  FireCore, the guys behind the Seas0nPass jailbreak tool have pushed out the update that provides a tethered jailbreak on the latest iOS 5.1 – 9B179b firmware. Q: Which Apple TV is supported and what must I be warned for about? A: Well, the update to the popular jailbreak tool currently only supports the second-generation Apple TV unit and therefore will not supply any jailbreak on the 1080p capable third-gen 2012 Apple TV. Be warned that is a tethered jailbreak. The tethered nature of that jailbreak means that every date the unit needs to be rebooted, it will have to be connected to your PC or Mac to be put into a jailbroken state. Q: Why should I go for that jailbreak? A: Well, personally I stick on my 444 untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1 considering my favorite features like Photostream and Airplay are included in that older iOS version. that older untethered 4.4.4 jailbreak additionally adds the superb native Media Player ATV app, which is able stream any of my movies I share on a NAS via WiFI without problems of delay, buffering or stuttering at all and much better than XBMC. However whether you can’t wait to use the new colorful user interface of iOS 5.1 and don’t mind connect your computer to the Apple TV during reboots of it, thereupon go, go for it Q: Okay, how to jailbreak Apple TV 2, iOS 5.0 (iOS 5.1 – 9B179b) using Seas0npass A: I found these detailed directions via redmondpie HERE which should be fine. (read the comments of other jail breakers first).  Good luck, and you are on your own!

Macbook touch via youtube

– by iPhone-tips-tricks.com – Both iPad and MacBook are popular devices. Most computer seen on TV are MacBooks considering the Apple Logo on the back is cool. that video that I found on youtube shows an impression of a hybrid device, combining an MacBook computer and an iPad with a multi-touch screen. Very good video and design view. However, I can imagine that design had never made it to Steve Jobs or Jonathan Ive’s desk. First, it is a normal Macbook computer, nothing wrong with that. But when you bend and fold the screen and keyboard part, you get an sort iPad with a stand. However your keyboard is used as bottom and that, I think, is not made for the Apple user like me. It is a painful experience to construct out the sound of scratches made by rubbing the keyboard against my beautiful desk. And placing a cover on the keyboard not so practical, What is your opinion?
