Cricket Wireless bet big on the popularity of the iPhone 5 on its prepaid contract free network. However, that bet hasn’t paid off with the carrier reportedly having about $100 million worth of unsold iPhone 5s expected to build up by June.

Stick-N-Find is a system that uses small Bluetooth enabled stickers to adhere to the bottom of just about anything allowing you to track and locate your items. The system has been updated with a 150-foot range and a new application that is easier-to-use ahead of the official launch.

A new smartwatch has turned up called the I’m Watch claiming to be the first real smart watch on the market. The device uses Bluetooth to interface with the iPhone or other devices allowing you to get notifications, reply calls, and run applications on the watch with prices starting at $350.

Mophie has been making battery cases for the iPhone line for a number of years that add additional runtime to the smartphone. The company has announced that it is now shipping its Juice Pack Air sleeve for the iPhone 5 for $99.95.

ZTE has showcased their latest Android 4.1 smartphone at that year’s Mobile World Congress. Called the Grand Memo, the handset sports a 5.7-inch 1280 x 720 HD capacitive multi-touch display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, a 2GB RAM, a microSD card slot, a 16GB of internal storage, dual cameras (1MP front & 13MP rear), ZTE’s Cloud service, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE connectivity, a 3200mAh battery and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. iPhone users who take advantage of the Facebook app may have noticed that a new update is now available. The new update brings voice calling to the US and Canada at no cost.

There are a lot of thieves out there that specifically target Apple devices such as the iPhone. The NYPD apparently has a team of officers completely committed to recovering stolen iPhones, iPads, and other Apple devices. The team is part of a response to the fact that crime was up in the city for the first instance in 20 years mostly due to the theft of Apple related devices.

If you’re an iPhone user that’s intrigued by the appeal of the new HTC One smartphone, HTC has announced that its new SyncManager software can import info directly from an iPhone backup file. The software is expected to be able to import details such as images, video, calendar entries, and more.
