Here we have another entry-level Android 4.2 smartphone ‘Iris 401′ from Lava Mobiles. Coming in black and blue color options, the Iris 401 has a 4.0-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, a 256MB RAM, a 512MB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and dual SIM card slots. Powered by a 1450mAh battery, the handset packs a 0.3MP front-facing camera, a 3MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and an FM radio, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Connectivity-wise, it provides 2G (EDGE), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth with A2DP. Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone ‘Lumia 535′ is finally making its way to UK. The handset is now listed at Microsoft UK’s official website as ‘Coming Soon’, however, there’s no word on the exact release term yet. Running on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 OS, the Lumia 535 packs a 5.0-inch 960 x 540 IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, an Adreno 302 GPU, a 1GB RAM and an 8GB of expandable internal storage. Gionee has unveiled a new octa-core Android 4.4 smartphone called the Elife S5.1. Adopting a magnesium alloy frame, that slim mid-range smartphone (just 5.1mm thick) features a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, a Mali 450-MP4 GPU, a 1GB RAM and a 16GB of internal storage. Powered by a 2100mAh battery, the Elife S5.1 sports a 5MP front-facing camera, an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and DTS surround sound support, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Amigo 2.0 UI on top.
