ZTE-Blade-L3

Here’s a look at another upcoming Android 5.0 smartphone from ZTE, the Blade L3. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, that mid-range handset is built with a 5.0-inch 960 x 540 qHD IPS display, a Mali 400 MP2 GPU, a 1GB RAM, an 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, the handset packs a 2MP front-facing camera, an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 2000mAh battery. Connectivity-wise, the Blade L3 provides 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The ZTE Blade L3 will be available in several color variants, including rare pearlescent colors, however, there’s no word on pricing and the exact release term yet. [ZTE]

New-HTC-Desire-816G-(2015)

HTC has released a new variant of its Desire 816G in India. Unlike its predecessor, the new HTC Desire 816G (2015) is equipped with a faster 1.7GHz octa-core SoC processor (1.3GHz quad-core MT6582 processor in Desire 816G). While the rest of the specs remain the same, it comes with a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, a 1GB RAM, a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 32GB) and dual nano SIM card slots. Other notable features include a 5MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2600mAh battery. For operating system, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with HTC Sense UI on top. The HTC Desire 816G (2015) will be available across India for Rs 19,990 (about $322). [NDTV]

HTC has launched another affordable octa-core Android 4.4 smartphone ‘Desire 526G+ Dual SIM’ for the Indian market. Available in Glacier Blue and Lacquer Black color options, that mid-range smartphone is packed with a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 qHD display, a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, a 1GB RAM, an 8GB or 16GB of expandable internal storage and dual micro-SIM card slots. Not only that, the handset additionally has a 2MP front-facing camera with 720p HD video recording, an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording, and a 2000mAh battery. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Sense UI, the Desire 526G+ Dual SIM provides 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for connectivity. Meizu-m1

Here we have another newly unveiled 4G LTE-enabled Android 4.4 smartphone from Meizu for the Chinese market. Called the Meizu m1, that budget-friendly smartphone sports a 5.0-inch 1280 x 768 HD IPS display, a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 64-bit processor, a 500MHz Mali-T760 MP2 GPU, a 1GB RAM and an 8GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB). Powered by a built-in 2610mAh battery, the handset comes complete with a 5MP front-facing camera with 69-degree wide-angle lens and a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. For connectivity, it provides 4G TD-LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Finally, the m1 runs on Flyme OS based on Android 4.4 KitKat. Samsung has officially introduced their latest dual-core Android 4.4 smartphone, the Galaxy J1. Coming in black, blue and white color options, that entry-level smartphone features a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 WVGA display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a Mali-400 GPU, a 512MB RAM and a 4GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB). Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the handset has a 2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing autofocus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, an FM radio and a 1850mAh battery.
