March 7th 2012 Apple event will reveal iPad 3 or iPad HD (or a new name?) photo via yhyqar

- by iPhone-tips-tricks.com - The blogs are stacked with “last minute” iPad 3 rumors. As usual, tomorrow March 7th, there is the planned Apple Event. But the question remains: What will Apple inc. precisely reveal? Is it only the next generation iPad HD with High Res, display or is there more? Well I Just run into that video, which looks like two grade new  iPad 3′s (or iPad HD’s or whatever name Apple has named it). It really looks like they are dropped from the air planes [see post ], In reality, that video is created by aatmastudio, who are known for their iPad video’s you wish they are the real thing.

They even shot a video and guess what? There is a very nice Home button on it. Let’s face it: I never found the Home button as a annoying thing. I personally think that centered button located at the bottom of the iPhone, iPod, iPad is truly a landmark for its famous Apple design, a signature of our grand master of industrial design Sir. A: Well, Terry Myerson says that Apple’s habit of releasing software updates for current iPhones is really just a way to sell more hardware. And he also did take the opportunity to slam Apple:
I think Apple ‑‑ you’re right, you can download iOS 5 for iPhone 3G, and it won’t be usable, but it’s possible to install …. It’s a great hardware sales tool as far as I can tell. Install that OS which makes your hardware unusably slow, so soon after you feel compelled to go back to the store and buy a new piece of hardware. 

But why does that man concentrate on his competitor? Is it not better for Microsoft to concentrate on their one products, own beliefs? Jealousy or what. First of all the iOS5 won’t run on the iPhone 3G but from a iPhone 3GS. next, there are some many iPhone 3GS users running iOS5. I feel confident to say that at that very moment, there are more iPhone 3GS devices running iOS 5 than Windows Phone 7 capable devices running the latest greatest Windows Phone something OS. What that means is that the millions of iPhone 3GS users have installed and still using…..iOS 5. Usable abundant or not usable? Please let the iPhone 3GS
owners answers that question.

He plus said that Android phones don’t get updated at all:
Statistically speaking, no Android phones get upgraded, none, ever. They have big bugs, they don’t even get patched. That’s what we’re seeing statistically out there.
Please please, again concentrate on your own product, construct me happy, lure me with a better product than the iPhone 3GS, and I will write great stories about your great products. deal?

Lately we have reported about the Retina display for the iPad 3 The next question is, when will the iPad 3 (or whatever name Apple will give it)  be shipped. Well today, someone posted a copy of a shipping document on the weiphone forum. The most exiting statement is that:  According to the poster, the shipping document (shown below) details shipments beginning Feb. 26 from Foxconn to the United States.

From the 9to5mac post, the translation from a Chinese-speaking reader point out that:

Our company started undertake a load of top-secured cargo. The owner has extreme requirements for the shield. In order to prevent the cargo from being dragged on the airport ramp for too faraway, as well as shortening the day the cargo stay on the airport ramp, we hereby require XXXX to schedule all the XXX cargo planes from Feb. 26 to Mar. 9. to XXX slot.

The shipping papers, start shipping today February 26th from Foxconn China to Chicago, Los Angeles and New York ?

We commonly know that Apple inc is very good in keeping products in secret. that translation, whether unmistaken, might give us a great peek in those secret processes of getting great amount of consumer products moved from China to several large airports in the USA, with the highest protection measures to keep things quiet. Worlds largest manufacturer of computer parts is Foxconn. They have clients like Dell, Sony, Nokia and  ofcourse Apple. In the past there were cases of suicide committed by personnel, blaming the high work pressure and the low payout. The plants are secured very well, and visitors are not allowed. Till now, no journalist were allowed to go in, However, Bill Weir from ABC News managed to get a permit to go in and film the plant. He interviewed a woman, who's job is to assemble the iPad 2. He additionally gave the woman an complete assembled and working iPad 2. – It was the first moment she saw a completely working iPad – The woman needs to work three full months to buy one iPad 2.

Picture via macrumors: iPad 3 display measured by ruler and the human eye

Fellow blogger macrumors has confirmed the iPad 3. First will get an 9.7 Inch 2048×1536 Retina Display. They claimed to have the real display part in their hands, and did simply some measurements by hand ruler and counting the pixels with the human eye. The funny thing is that the size of the display is measured to be 9.7 Inch, which is the same display size as in the iPad 1 and iPad 2. 

What really matters, that what really counts for viewing quality is the Pixel-Per-Inch (PPI) value.
According the report, Apple seems to have a requirement of 280 PPI. 

“Pixel density, a barometer for viewing quality, should be increased to by 280 pixels-per-inch (PPI) to meet Apple’s stiff requirement for screen viewing,’’ said another source, who predicts that Taiwanese LCD giant CMI will see smaller orders from Apple than its Korean rivals.”

It’s been a while since I’ve done a sales figures post with all the number/charts/etc. But after taking a look at Camera+ sales by day, I found it interesting to see how much they’ve increased by the past several months, with the bulk of that being attributed to the success of the iPhone 4S."
