If you still have a first-gen iPhone but want to spruce it up a bit, possibly a bit of case modification will suit your fancy. At least that’s what a group of Russian modders have decided to do.

This involves replacing the back case with one that allows the Apple logo on the back to glow. Pretty cool looking, whether you ask me. Plus, it adds a real sense of symmetry amoung the iPhone and other Apple products, like MacBooks.

What’s particularly cool is the Apple only glows while the phone is in use and you can adjust the brightness of the glow within the settings menu. While not very practical (expect for possibly a flashlight?) that mod will definitely produce your iPhone stand out.
