A new press release came out today from Apple, assuring the iPhone 4 is purchasable that friday 30th July in 17 countries including Italy, where I am staying for holiday. I will check out the TIM Vodafone and 3 shops in Rome. My goal is a Factory Unlocked iPhone 4, so I can choose my favorite provider in my own country.
NOTE: Please read my tutorial for Factory Unlocked iPhones HERE. The press
release states:
Beginning that Friday, customers can purchase iPhone 4 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. iPhone 4 will be available for purchase through Apple’s retail and online stores and Apple® Authorized Resellers.
Nothing new, country number 18, South Korea , is not part of the list yet declared earlier. The availability is now officially July 30.
