Samsung’s upcoming handset, the Sunburst, will be released in the US on March 21st, 2010 via AT&T. The Samsung Sunburst is an all-touch phone sporting a 3-inch resistive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. A widget bar feature allows one-touch access to common phone functions like creating a text report, in addition to direct urls to social networking sites. Other features include a 2MP camera with video recording capability, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity, AT&T SocialNet, AT&T Mobile Music, AT&T Navigator, Motion Detection and Smart Unlock. The Motion Detection can mute (and redirect) an incoming shout simply by turning it around with the face down on a table, meanwhile the Smart Unlock allows you to draw a symbol on the screen to jump directly to a specific phone functionality when unlocking the phone. The Samsung Sunburst will retail for $39.99 after a 2-year agreement as well as a mail-in rebate. [i4u]
