Sony Xperia XZ1

Sony has introduced a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 8.0 smartphone ‘Xperia XZ1’ at IFA 2017 in Berlin. Running on Android 8.0 Oreo OS, that water and dust resistant smartphone (IP65/IP68) sports a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD HDR TRILUMINOS display with X-Reality and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, an octa-core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, an Adreno 540 GPU, a 4GB RAM and a 64GB of expandable internal storage (up to 256GB).

Coming in singled-out or dual SIM card version, the handset packs a 13MP front-facing camera with 1/3” Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens and 1080p video recording, a 19MP rear-facing camera with 1/2.3” Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 lens, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording and 960fps slow-motion video recording, a fingerprint sensor and a 2700mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging.

For connectivity, the Xperia XZ1 provides 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and USB 3.1 Type-C. The Sony Xperia XZ1 will roll out globally starting from September 2017. Prices unannounced yet. [Product Page]
